| On the Kindergarten playground tucked in a corner is a thriving chicken coop. This state of the art chicken coop houses six chickens who are taken care of by our students, families, and staff members. The chickens were donated to Campus School by Blackman High School. Each grade level collaborated to give their special chicken a name. During Kindergarten recess, it’s not surprising to see a chicken going for a ride on a tricycle safely tucked in the arms of a student. The chicken coop and chickens provide our students with many opportunities to learn in a hands on environment outside of the typical curriculum. |
